Patient Rights
In accordance with NABH standards, every patient receiving care in this hospital is entitled to the following rights:

Right to Information
Patients have the right to receive clear, complete, and understandable information regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes. -
Right to Privacy and Confidentiality
All medical records, personal details, and clinical discussions shall be kept confidential. Privacy will be maintained during examination, treatment, and care. -
Right to Informed Consent
Patients have the right to give informed consent before undergoing any investigation, procedure, surgery, or treatment. -
Right to Refuse Treatment
Patients may refuse treatment after being informed about the possible medical consequences of such refusal. -
Right to Emergency Care
Every patient has the right to receive immediate and appropriate care in emergency and life-threatening situations, without delay. -
Right to Respect and Dignity
Patients shall be treated with courtesy, respect, and dignity at all times, irrespective of gender, age, religion, caste, economic status, or social background. -
Right to Grievance Redressal
Patients have the right to voice complaints or grievances related to care, safety, or services and receive a fair and timely resolution.
Patient Responsibilities
Along with rights, patients and attendants are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities to ensure safe and effective care:

Patients must provide correct and complete information regarding their medical history, medications, allergies, and current health condition. -
Following Treatment Plan
Patients should cooperate with healthcare providers and follow prescribed treatment, medication, and care instructions. -
Respecting Healthcare Providers and Other Patients
Patients and attendants must behave respectfully toward hospital staff and fellow patients. -
Adhering to Hospital Rules and Policies
Patients are expected to comply with hospital policies related to safety, infection control, visiting hours, and discipline. -
Care of Personal Belongings
Patients are responsible for safeguarding their personal valuables during their stay in the hospital. -
Reporting Unsafe Conditions
Any unsafe environment, equipment malfunction, or potential risk should be promptly reported to hospital staff. -
Financial Responsibility
Patients or their representatives are responsible for understanding charges and settling hospital bills in a timely manner.
